WHY JOIN THE ACADEMY ASSOCIATES?
Students will learn in a fun and creative environment by industry experts who have all been trained at vocational schools in the UK and have professional performance experience.
Students will cover the work of Sondheim, Rogers & Hammerstein, Lloyd Webber, Macintosh and many more, giving our students the foundation from which to develop a broad musical theatre repertoire. Students will be introduced to the core acting techniques: improvisation, devising and learning how to create character through voice and physicality. Students will learn different dance styles: jazz, tap and contemporary to secure technique, posture and to develop versatility and most importantly how to express themselves and perform through movement. Students will also cover basic voice techniques and understand how to act through song.
