Dance Coach

PART TIME/freelance

SIX MONTH CONTRACT

EDUCATION: Vocational dance training and professional performance experience is compulsory.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Advanced 1 & 2 Examinations, ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing): Advanced Modern Theatre & Tap. 2 years + teaching experience in the performing arts industry is required.

CentreStage Studios HK is looking for a Jazz & Tap coach to join our teaching faculty from January 2017. The coach will be teaching students from ages 3-18Yrs at various venues on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. The coach must prepare energetic and engaging lessons, while challenging the students’ movement ability and expanding their dance vocabulary. The coach will run open classes at the end of the term for family and friends.

Candidates must be:

  •  Passionate about working with children
  • Confident to lead large groups of adults and children
  • Hard-working and efficient
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Very reliable and trustworthy
  • Creative minded combined with an organised mentality
  • Great customer relations

A paid probation period of 3 months would be followed by a permanent position.

Salary will be discussed on application.
